Quality of life trajectories among frail older adults in Korea: the role of social network factors
Dr. Kim is a part of the team that has recently published “Quality of life trajectories among frail older adults in Korea: the role of social network factors” on Aging & Mental Health. Using 10 years of data from 3,177 older Koreans, this study found that frail adults had lower initial quality of life than non-frail peers. While quality of life declined overall, it improved among frail participants over time. Greater participation in social activities was associated with better quality of life, highlighting the value of social engagement for frail older adults.View Publication: https://doi.org/10.1080/13607863.2026.2683657
