Dr. Solé-Auró is part of the team that has published “Paths to multimorbidity: a longitudinal perspective on disease accumulation in Catalonia, Spain” on European Journal of Public Health. Using Catalonia health records (2007–2021), this study tracked disease accumulation among adults aged 45–74. Nine multimorbidity trajectories emerged, shaped by sex and income. Metabolic and hypertensive conditions were common entry points.
