Dr. Lee, with colleagues, has published “Good death and end-of-life care preferences: perspectives from older Singaporeans” on BMC Palliative Care. This qualitative study examined older Singaporeans’ views on a good death and end-of-life (EOL) planning. Good death was defined by freedom from suffering, avoiding burdening family, accepting mortality, and fulfilling family responsibilities. Limited EOL discussions reflected emotional and social barriers, suggesting a need for family-centered, culturally sensitive EOL care and planning services.View Publication: https://doi.org/10.1186/s12904-026-02162-5
