Dr. Wen is a part of the team that has recently published “Relationship Between Generative AI Use and Life Satisfaction and the Mediating Role of AI Literacy Among Hong Kong Adults: Cross-Sectional Study” in Journal of Medical Internet Research. This population-based study of Hong Kong adults found that GenAI use was indirectly associated with higher life satisfaction through perceived AI usefulness, behavioral intention to use AI, and AI literacy. Younger adults reported greater AI engagement, while the indirect association was stronger among men and older adults. The findings highlight AI literacy as a key pathway linking GenAI use to well-being.
