Anna Zajacova is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Western Ontario in Canada, where she studies population health with a focus on health determinants, trends, and disparities, particularly among mid-life and older adults. She earned her PhD in Sociology and Demography from Princeton University. A central focus of her work involves using demographic analysis to examine the social roots and consequences of chronic pain in the U.S. and other populations.
