Ruoh-rong Yu is a Research Fellow at the Center for Survey Research, Researcher Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, Academia Sinica, Taiwan. Since January 2013, she has been the PI of the Panel Study of Family Dynamics, which is a nationally representative longitudinal survey project launched in 1999. Her research interests encompass family studies, labor studies, and survey research methodologies. Her current research on aging and the life course focuses on various aspects of retirement, including retirement timing, post-retirement employment, and subjective well-being before and after retirement. Additionally, she is conducting a comparative study on changes in subjective well-being across the life course and between cohorts.
