Yu-Hua Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Bio-Industry Communication and Development at National Taiwan University. She is a social demographer whose research centers on early adulthood life transitions, family formation, and rural development. In recent years, her work has focused on trends in late marriage, low fertility, and evolving family structures. Her current project examines how return migration and marriage migration shape local labor markets and support the social and economic sustainability of rural communities in East Asia.
